The collection for the Valentino Haute Couture Spring 2016, rides the scenes of Paris with a wave of the East, inspired by the Byzantine culture.

With the parade Haute Couture spring / summer 2016 Valentino celebrates the Byzantine culture: the symbol of the collection becomes the decorum and sumptuousness, combined with simple lines and fabrics. The collection has signed Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, creative directors of the fashion house, applauded and recognized by the public, which certainly do not lack passion, and it shows.

The collection and the colors

"The inspiration of the collection, the starting point of our creativity was Mariano Fortuny," say Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, designer who captivated the world at the beginning of the twentieth century.

"From him we learned above all the art of passing time, the beauty of things as they get older. In a period in which the obsession with youth is rampant, we liked the contrary reflect the patina that is deposited on the things and objects that accompany us for a lifetime. It is not nostalgia, but intimacy is like leafing through a book that was impressed on reality. "

Something special is to see the models paraded barefoot with loose hair coming down like waterfalls on their back, parted in the middle and head framed by a golden snake.

The collection features 66 well look: a succession of fantasy, including animal prints and meticulous workmanship. The brocade and velvet fabrics joined the tulle gowns poetic and timeless.

Dresses with trains, deep V-necks and cloaks emphasize cleavage. Do not miss mini dresses and kimono that stimulate the imagination and transport you to a realm of peace east, away from the chaos of the city.

Simple lines that wrap around the body as opposed to the precious fabrics and refined that are used. The colors are full filled the fabrics are precious, opulent, and the colors are full and luxurious.

Frequent in the collection is the use of gold, combined with the white black blue and burgundy. Not lacking bright colors like orange, bright green, yellow ocher and blue.
