The management of a company, whether public or private, has daily problems and design, which must be addressed by following certain criteria.

Speaking of project management does not mean addressing the problems of "routine functions" of the company, ie all those tasks that take place daily and are used to the normal business activity. The word "project", in fact, be understood as seen in a well-defined period of time, with a beginning and an end.

We must first determine every aspect of the work plan that the company faces, planning the steps needed to achieve the desired result, taking account of costs and construction times. You must then make a feasibility analysis of the project, to see if you can reach the conclusion respecting each specific.

The most important phases of project management in business management are related to the definition of "mission", the resources available for the job, the methodology with which the project will be addressed and, finally, the type of control that will be applied.

It is therefore called "triangle of design constraints," in which each side is one of the requirements to be taken into account: the purpose and quality of service, project duration, resources employable. As the sides of a triangle, each of these aspects and tied to the other two and is conditioned.

Defined in these aspects, it then passes to the deconstruction of the project, to identify the stages that compose it. You will then go to the drafting of the so-called Work-breackdown Structure, ie a diagram where it breaks down the project, up to the most basic stages.

Usually, the project management is entrusted to a team task manager, the head of which is defined project managers who will work to manage the various aspects of the project and direct the actors in charge. In the case of small projects or companies with a limited number of employees, will not be made up of a development team, and the project manager will be only to coordinate the activities of all the resources involved in the project.
