End-of-year holiday parties are filling your calendar, and you’ve taken it upon yourself to finish the season on a sartorial high note. Thankfully, Jimmy Choo is here to help with fresh party-outfit inspiration from some of the world’s top bloggers as well as their don’ts for nailing your look.

Read the tips carefully to avoid the evening party disasters. See below to check if you have done the wrong thing before.

1. Ignore the weather forecast.

“A don’t is wearing too little clothing. When you look at London, you never see girls wearing tights when they go out, and I’m like, they must be freezing! There are lots of stylish ways to stay warm, like wearing a short dress with a pair of pants underneath.”

2. Overdo the hair.

“People like to overdo their hair for Christmas with super-curly angel locks. I think it is a little too much. You always want to have this kind of cool chic by keeping the hair down and more natural.”

3. Pair peep-toe heels with tights.

"Really high heels will elongate your legs and make them look amazing.”

 4. Show too much skin at an office holiday party.

“I would say less is more. Keep it decent. Your boss is there, so just keep it decent.”

5. Wear anything you can’t dance or eat in.

“Don’t wear anything that is uncomfortable. Also, you want to make sure your clothes fit you really well. The fit is everything. "

 6. Pose too much in photos.

"Keep it cheeky but nice at the same time, and don’t exaggerate with the poses—don’t go for an overtly alluring pose or anything."

7. Go out without breaking in your shoes.
