The hit animated film from Disney would be receiving a sequel, and "Frozen 2" has been greatly hyped by the fans since May. With the success of current success of Disney film "Moana," it has been reported that the release date of "Frozen 2" had been moved from 2018 to next year.

It has been reported that "Frozen 2" has already started its production phase, with Kristen Bell confirmed returning to voice Anna. However, actual recording has not commenced yet. Bell stated that the production team is actually still finishing up the script for "Frozen 2."

With this news though, then releasing "Frozen 2" by the end of 2017 would be a very difficult feat to accomplish. Disney might then go on with their original 2018 release date.

The storyline for "Frozen 2" has not been confirmed as of yet. However, several reports have stated that both Queen Elsa and her snowman sidekick, Olaf, will be getting their own love interests. Lately though, there has been a tremendous pressure from the fans that the love interest of Elsa should also be a woman. If this happens, then "Frozen 2" will be featuring Elsa as the first openly gay Disney character.

Other theories then speculate that Anna might even discover her own powers in "Frozen 2." The King of Arendelle, who was assumed dead from the shipwreck in the first movie, would in fact survive and return home. He would then be sent away by the guards, who would obviously not recognize him, but would reunite with his daughters by the end of "Frozen 2."

In "Frozen Fever," the short film follow-up of the original movie, the features graduation dresses uk of both Elsa and Anna were changed, along with the addition of the snow babies. "Frozen 2" would most likely see new dresses for the characters, and more feature for the snow babies. This is to sell more merchandise to further promote "Frozen 2."

 

The central characters are still set to return for "Frozen 2." Idina Menzel, despite a lot of rumors of her not returning, would still be voicing Elsa. Bell would return as Anna, along with her lover Kristoff, to be voiced by Jonathan Groff. Prince Hans, voiced by Santino Fontana, might also get a redemption plot.
