If it is really necessary to change your wig, this is possible with water vapor. Turn the hair in and steam each curl a few times. Suitable for vapor deposition are e.g. Steamers for cleaning windows or similar. Then you should let the hair cool down for several hours.

Yes real hair extensions, but ... only sprays that contain very little alcohol and can be easily brushed out are suitable. Products with a high proportion of alcohol dry the fiber and can be very harmful. This also applies to strong fixing gels: "The hairstyle holds", but so good that you have to brush your second hair tremendously to free the fiber of product residues, and simply tear out so many hairs. Even when washing, many of these products can not be completely removed. The hair is heavier, dry and brittle, and can only be dressed badly. Styling products should therefore be soluble in water and not too strong.

You can make some style changes, but we recommend you to proceed carefully. They may be e.g. Waves a bit smoother, but you can not change curly hair into smooth hair. This is because the fiber has been treated with a special heat process during manufacture. The curls are "fixed" by the heat.

As for cutting a wig, we would recommend you hire a hairstylist who has experience with cutting wigs.


You can add additional bounce to the curls of your wig, but do not use a hair curler or curling iron. Just roll the dry hair on soft foam rubber rollers. Then spray the wig with water and let it dry in the air. A typical mistake is to make the hair wet first and then roll it up. In this way you achieve the exact opposite: wet fibers are tensioned and lose your jumping power.
