DKMS LIFE, together with L'Oréal, has created professional products "look good feel better - the hair program for cancer patients". The program is additionally supported by the gfh, Gesellschaft für Haarästhetik mbH, which advises as a co-partner in wigs questions. Patients receive a personalized consultation with a specially trained partner, to deal with hair loss, information on acquisition and billing with the health insurance company when buying the second time, up to the perfect adjustment of the wig. And before, during and after the hair loss.

For the future it is planned to expand the hair program and to involve other partners. The aim is to provide patients with the advice of specially trained hairdressers nationwide.
