Freyas Autumn/Winter season of 2011 is one of my favourite long gown dress collections in a long while. With gorgeous colours and prints with the Freya fit weve all come to know and love, I was keen to try the Neive, which combines a gorgeously girly floral print with an edgy black lace trim.

The fit was much looser around the band than some of Freyas swimwear manufacturer other bras more comparable to their Arabella range as the fabric seems to have a lot less tough elastic in it which (despite making the bra lack that nice firm fit feeling) is really comfortable as it lightly supports your bust yet feels like you arent wearing a bra at all. See how the band compares to another 28 band bra

I wore this bra to work today and as I work costume manufacturer in an office I only need light support. I tend to prefer a firmer band fit when Im shopping/walking briskly/cycling/running for a bus/doing general slightly more strenuous activities gotta bind down the girls! The Neive however was just right for a day in the office chair filling in some spreadsheets, uploading some columns and making tea I felt supported yet comfortable. Im not sure this bra in this size could handle a hectic Saturdays shopping, however so if you can (I cant) Id order a band size down from your usual Freya bra size.

The high-rise (almost high-waisted but not quite) briefs were to die for my size S Id say would fit a size 10-12 easily and are super flattering on curves or on slim-hipped ladies wanting to rock a vintage twist. Ive even been teaming this bra with some black lacy separates whilst my matching briefs are in the wash and it really works!

Im keen to try the bra in the stunning long-line version as Im a sucker for a retro-chic long-line (alas no 28 bands!) But for those of you lucky enough to fit the 30-38 C-G size range its a great choice. Looks wise, its probably my bra set of the season, but definitely one to try before you buy.

This bra was gifted as part of my free sets for being a part of the Freya Fitting Talk blog. This does not affect my opinion or my write up in any way. All views expressed are my own.
