Miss Caroline Conger Flint and Dr. Jeffrey Reid Meadows, Jr. were united in marriage on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at six o'clock in the evening at First United Methodist Church in Batesville, Mississippi. The wedding ceremony was officiated by the Reverend Edward Eugene Woodall, Jr. Pianist, Hollie Roberson and soloist, Jennifer Donovan Guthrie, provided the service's music. Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a buffet dinner and dance reception at the Wilbourn Building in Batesville, Mississippi, with music provided by "The Directors," a band the bride's talented father has been an occasional substitute member. On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a seated dinner at the Wilbourn Building, catered by Taylor Grocery, Taylor, Mississippi, followed by dancing with music by "50 Amp Fuse," her banker father's part-time band. "50 Amp Fuse" members comprise the bride's father, his long time friend, his brother, and his nephew. This nephew, Brian Flint, also served as the wedding photographer and is the renowned Mississippi fine art wedding photographer of B.Flint Photography, based in Oxford, Mississippi, and often commissioned throughout the U.S. and Internationally.

The bride is the daughter of Ms. Alicia Bruckner Flint and Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Etley Flint, III of Batesville, Mississippi. She is the granddaughter of the late Calvin Etley Flint Jr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Bruckner, all from Batesville, Mississippi. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Samuel Cantrell Jr. of Germantown, Tennessee and the late Dr. Jeffrey Reid Meadows, of Cordova, Tennessee. He is the grandson of the late Mrs. Frances Reid Meadows and the late Dr. Thomas Riley Meadows of Memphis, Tennessee and the late Dr. Fenton Sims Cunningham and Mrs. Doris Keeling Cunningham, of Asheville, North Carolina, and the late Mr. William Andrew Scroggs and Mrs. Sharon Scroggs Coggin of Mobile, Alabama.

Given in marriage and escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory strapless Allure gown of glistening Schiffli lace over pale gold satin with a Cathedral train, complemented by a cathedral length veil of ivory illusion. The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of ivory hydrangeas and roses.

Mrs. Jennifer Flint Garrott of Durham, North Carolina, sister of the bride, served as Matron of Honor. Of the ten Bridesmaids, the bride included her other two sisters, Mrs. Felicity Flint Gordon of Batesville, Mississippi and Mrs. Christina Flint Gordon of Hernando, Mississippi and Mrs. Susan Frances Meadows Wade of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, sister of the groom. The flower girl was Miss Vivian Harper Wade of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, niece of the groom. The Matron of Honor and the Bridesmaids wore floor length grey chiffon gowns featuring a lace bodice while carrying hand-tied bouquets of ivory hydrangeas and roses. The bride's mother made Miss Vivian's tea length heirloom style short prom dresses uk of ivory Swiss batiste and antique French laces.

Mr. Chad Richard Staples of Nashville, Tennessee, served as Best Man, and the groom's brother-in-law, Mr. Michael Patrick Wade, Jr., of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, was one of his ten groomsmen. The bride's nephews were the junior usher, Caden Flint Carlini, and ring bearer, Jackson Gage Long, both of Batesville, Mississippi.

The bride is a 2009 graduate of South Panola High School, Batesville, Mississippi. She is a 2013 graduate of Mississippi State University and received a Biology Bachelor of Science degree and was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. She currently is attending the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy and plans to earn her Doctorate of Pharmacy May, 2017.

The groom graduated from Houston High School, Germantown, Tennessee. He is a 2012 graduate of The University Of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he received a Biology Bachelor of Science degree and was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity. He is currently receiving training in the Post Graduate Year One Pharmacy Practice Residency program at the Memphis Veterans Administration Medical Center. He is a member of Second Presbyterian Church.
